Acetone based. Soak the cotton wool, leave it pressed on your nails for a bit and start to remove it bit by bit.
Unfortunately glitter based is one which takes a while to come off.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
I've got some clips, a bit like clothes pegs but specifically made to hold the soaked cotton wool against your nail. Bought on Amazon but came from China, really cheap, really effective. I have some foil sheets with a small cotton pad in them, like @Misslayeds, soak the pad and wrap foil around fingers for a while, I use them a few times by cutting a small piece of cotton pad and using that in them Again from bay of e.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. As others have said, cut a cotton wool pad into little pieces, soak them in remover and then use strips of foil scrunched round your finger to hold the pads against your nail for 5 or ten mins.
Alternatively get a face wipe/baby wipe and cut it into 10 strips and tie one around the end of each finger so your nail is covered. (Easier if you get someone to help you do this!) Pour some remover into the cap of the bottle and then dip each fingertip in, or drop a little bit of remover onto each nail. Again, wait a few mins and when you take the strips off, most of the polish will come off with them.1 -
I find the nail varnish remover which comes in little tubs very effective. It is a lot easier to use for glitter removal than wrapping each nail individually (and I’ve tried everything
). Nails Inc have one on Amazon at the moment for £4 and it has good reviews.
I found 2 of the Margaret Dabbs pots in TKMaxx for less than half price and they were really good.
You may find the acetone ones work better for glitter but they are a bit drying so I give my nails a good massage afterwards with nail oil, lots of good ones around.
