British Gas fixed deal v std tariff post April Price cap
I am on the British Gas "Energy Plus Protection April 2022" deal and looking at a significant hike post April. Should move onto the new " Home energy secure Dec 2023v2" fixed or drop to the std rate and fix just before the expected Oct price cap increase ? currently looking at an increase of over 100%. Std Tariff Elec 20.141p pkwh std 24.383 pd / Gas 4.043p pkwh std 26.123 pd

In my signature you'll find the April Ofgem cap rates for your region. How do they compare to the new BG rates you've been offered for "Home energy secure Dec 2023v2"?
