Core group warm home discount

I am hoping somebody might know how you get the warm home discount for 2020/21, if you switched energy companies a few days before your old supplier went bust. I'm part of the core group.

Whoever was your supplier on a set date in July(the actual date escapes me) is this company's responsiblility to pay the core WHD to qualifying people.  So, if you moved before this date, then your new supplier would be responsible.  I cannot find any info about what happens to core WHD people if their supplier goes bust after this date.  One would assume (like broader applicants) that you could claim with your new supplier, but if their WHDapplication process has closed, then it seems it becomes difficult.
