2 couples went on holiday in November 2021 . We ordered out tests for our return. The government changed the criteria whilst we were away. We ordered our PCR tests and were told we would receive a refund for our first test. This was all done through Chronomics.
Everything was fine with the tests etc. On our return our friends received their refund. I was told that the cost of the PCR test reflected in the cost of the earlier test and so do not get any refund. We have both kept our receipts, we have (both couples) paid identical amounts but I am not eligible for a refund !!!! I’m still trying to get it. It’s not a huge amount but it is the principle of the matter.

There obviously shouldn't be any discrepancy between two identical situations but it's not clear to me exactly what differed between you (what do you mean by 'earlier test' and 'first test')?
However, ultimately your entitlement will be governed by the Ts & Cs (assuming they're legal), what do they say?0 -
I cannot get any answers from the company they just keep repeating my account is closed. We both did the ordering of both tests together, sat side by side.
originally it was a lateral flow test then the government upgraded it to a PCR test. T’s and C’s would apply to both of us.0
