Yes i know the site well and done this shall we say a few times (at this site) its also local to me.Bambi1701 said:thank you Brown trout , are you 100% that I as the company owner will not just be passing this on to myself , if I say it was me driving, I don’t want to have to pay someone else’s fine ? So I say it was me and I didn’t leave the site and ask for an appeals number to apply to ias to get it quashed
Just do an appeal as the driver and ask them to decline the or accept the appeal1 -
Thank you Browntrout0

I agree with BT if it was a passenger that left site and the driver didn't, they haven't got a leg to stand on.Not that they are likely to take a leaving the site scam anywhere anyway due to past history of this type of ruse, predominately the "toothbrush case" LOL1

I went on to the payment site and it’s only got pictures of the vehicle , in a parking spot , nothing of the vehicle entering the site or who was in it0

I’ve not paid it , but it says you have to appeal in writing , surely if someone observed someone leaving site they would need the video evidence of the person driving actually leaving the site , what’s to say the original driver didn’t get out earlier and a passenger parked it and left0

It is most unlikely that a judge would agree that this contractual term is lawful in most cases anywayYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Without photos of anyone 'leaving the site' (whatever 'site' means - clue there for you!) the PPC is shafted. They have to prove their case, and they can't do that with unsupported allegations.Bambi1701 said:I went on to the payment site and it’s only got pictures of the vehicle , in a parking spot , nothing of the vehicle entering the site or who was in itThey're just chancers, I'm sure this will go no further than silly letter threats. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
