Should I fix?

Yeh that’s the one, I’ve gone for it and it said my current deal will keep going until 05/03 and then I’ll move on to the new one. Obviously we lose March at the current cap so will be paying more for that month but that gets gradually clawed back to work out just better overall and we have protection in Octoberstokegal said:Have you been offered EON next Online v10 fixed for 1 year?
That’s what I have been offered (current deal expires 02/03/22) and similar to yourself it appears to be slightly cheaper for me to fix to0 -
Eon Next offer 2 year fixes. Only slightly higher rates than a 1 year fix and still no exit penalty. I got one last September and am already ahead of the game. Might be worth considering? They do come and go quite quickly though, so it is a case of grabbing one when you see it - which is where the benefit of it not taking effect until your current tariff ends comes into play.No idea how it would work now you've already signed up to a new tariff, but it sounds like you're covered for another year anyway.

I'm electric only (8000kWh pa) and have gone for the EON next Online v10 1yr fix. I'm currently on their SVT as a result of Symbio going under and it makes financial sense for me.0

There was a 2 yr fix on there when I logged in but it was significantly more than the 1yr. Potentially if prices kept going up at the rate they have for the next 2 years it could be worth it in the end but it would be a much bigger gamble because of how much more it would cost between now and Octobervictor2 said:Eon Next offer 2 year fixes. So glad I took this now with everyone scrambling to try and get V11 or V12! Surprised MSE HQ didn't pick up on the E-on deals sooner0
