Current cheap fix ends 27th April - check my maths?

Thanks Andrea15. I’ve made a couple of mistakes. Two year fix is £93, not £99 for the usage (3061) that I mentioned. Guava 2 year is also 33.76p per kWh and 25.08p per day. It runs from February 2022 until February 2024 with a £40 exit fee. The carrot offered is that you pay the current price cap until the new one in April applies and then pay the Guava tariff. It was referred to as the “Early Bird” offer and was received by telephone from So Energy this morning.Keep the capped Flex rate until April then, for me, it’s only about £3 (5%) per month more than the new cap with another cap increase due in October which would not affect the cost because it’s fixed. £61 per month until April then £93 per month thereafter, which is less than £3 per month above what the cap would be anyway. Plus, it’s fixed for two years.
I'm not fond of being rung up and sold something like this out of the blue but it’s got me thinking a bit. Worth a punt?0 -
Official name of tariff: “ So Guava Two Year Earlybird - Green”
Hope this helps.0
