Ofgem capped rates
Can anyone tell me what the 'official' KWhr Ofgem capped rates are up to April 2022?
Ofgem appear not to publish these for the general public.
We seem to be reliant on the fuel companies determining what they believe is the cap.
I understand that the fuel cap depends on the area within UK but there is a complete blanket on them being published.
I do not want to know the average cap over the year, but am quite capable of calculating the cost, given a KWhr rate for both gas and electricity.
Can anyone shed light on this?
Thank you

Welcome to the forum.
Yes, provided you are paying monthly by DD and your supplier has chosen to set the highest possible standing charge (most of them do) they have been posted several times on this forum in the past six months.bloggsj said:Can anyone tell me what the 'official' KWhr Ofgem capped rates are up to April 2022?- For the current rates (October 21 to April 22) see here.
- For the future rates (April 22 to October 22) see here.
But:- If your supplier has set a lower standing charge they will have been able to set a slightly higher unit rate.
- If you don't pay by DD your caps are slightly higher.
- If you're on E7 or another multi-rate tariff it's more complicated; see here.
