Managed to make an unexpected £70 OP today. Was sorting through some drawers searching for our wedding certificate as OH is finally getting round to changing the name on her driving licence (we’ve only been married 9 years, lol) and found an envelope with £70 in.I must have put that away to save for something specific and have totally forgot about it.
As I can’t remember for the life of me what it was for, I considered the best thing to do with it was to make a surprise bonus OP!MFW 2022 #89MFW start (Feb 22): £170,122Current (Apr 22): 14y 7m (Sep 36)

Just reviewing the end of month finances. Slightly (very!) worried that I won’t be making any OP at the end of this March.Had a very expensive month that included two nights out with friends, and a family meal out for Mother’s Day - which was lovely but more than I had budgeted for.Means that unless I dip into some of the other pots, I won’t be making an OP. Feel somewhat disappointed. Maybe I’ll just have to have a look to see if I can shuffle some money around.Thinking of maybe rounding down some of the pots……… hmmm, thinking cap needs to be worn!MFW 2022 #89MFW start (Feb 22): £170,122Current (Apr 22): 14y 7m (Sep 36)

You’re right DFOD, that certainly helped.
So I did a month end money shuffle and by rounding down some of the other other pots to the nearest £100 I managed to make a final March OP of £226.50 so £446.50 in total for March.
Am very happy about that total, despite not quite hitting the £500 target, as I did have an expensive month expenditure wise.
Just submitted my meter readings for yesterday. I, like the rest of the country so it seems, struggled to log into my energy supplier account yesterday!MFW 2022 #89MFW start (Feb 22): £170,122Current (Apr 22): 14y 7m (Sep 36)

Managed to make an early April OP of £150 today, so very happy with that.
Think this month will be a real acid test for my finances and budgeting as all the price rises will be hitting home - energy, council tax, water, nursery fees, NI increases.MFW 2022 #89MFW start (Feb 22): £170,122Current (Apr 22): 14y 7m (Sep 36)
