Balance transfer offer but can't transfer from same bank

I've just got a new card with a 30 month balance transfer offer but I can't do this from the card with the balance on as it's the same bank. I've paid off my everyday spending (points) card with the balance transfer and I have the balance in my current account to pay the rest off but is there any other way I can put this credit to good use other than an asset which would appreciate over the 30 months bought on another card and paid off with the offer?

If you have no other debts, it's not of much use other than as a regular card.
If you can clear the debt, I would simply do that.0
