Reapplying for Licence after ban

Hi everyone.
I’ve had previous usernames on here that I can’t sign into so not exactly a new user.
In August 2020 I was banned from driving under the totting up procedure, and now need to reapply for my licence. I’ve tried for the past two weeks to speak to the DVLA about what I need to send but keep getting cut off.
Does anyone happen to know if I need to send in ID/photo with the D1 form? As I cannot find any information online at all about it.
Any help would be massively appreciated.

You need form D1 from the Post Office https://www.gov.uk/reapply-licence-revoked1

Thank you for your message. I have the D1 form, but the fact they use the form for all sorts of licensing updates is what is confusing.I wasn’t sure if it was required to send a new photo or to send ID in. I’ve plumped with not sending it, the worst that can happen is they send it back to me so we’ll see what happens. Trying to get through to the DVLA is living hell, the line constantly says busy and cuts you off.0

For what it costs to get a new ID photo, I'd just send one in. It could add weeks to the application if they reject it.
