Ours didn’t take long. They asked for some documentation on the Friday. I sorted it out during the weekend and by the Monday they were happy with it and booked the valuation for the Wednesday. The valuation report took 4 days to come.

Hey apologies for late reply -  I haven’t been credit checked again but I suspect that will happen next week before our completion date.

10/02/22 - DIP
14/02/22 - application submitted
14/02/22 - hard search done
25/02/22 - pepper requested reasons for defaults, reasons for Ccjs, gifted deposit proof, account numbers for credit cards, proof of child DLA and their name & age.
07/03/22 - reason for an amount of £1k deposited in bank account - to make sure it was not a loan.
08/03/22 - Security call from Pepper.
09/03/22 - Formal offer received.

Hiya. What kind of questions do they ask during the security call? 

Nothing major just name, dob the acc the mortgage will come out of. Was a 2 minute conversation and then they advised they will be in touch with their decision. The next day I received an email at 4:50pm with the formal offer (I was on nerves all day 😂)

It took about a month from application - offer.
I was very impressed overall by pepper. Highly recommended
