Has anyone applied to Pepper Money recently? Can you let me know how long it took from application to offer for you? or application to valuation being instructed?

Hey, has anyone had an update? I checked my credit file and the hard search was done on application date (14.02.22) - my mortgage brokers called today just for a weekly catch up and they haven’t heard anything back yet.

Hey All, I don’t know if you’re still checking but I have updates on the time line:

10/02/22 - DIP
14/02/22 - application submitted
14/02/22 - hard search done
25/02/22 - pepper requested reasons for defaults, reasons for Ccjs, gifted deposit proof, account numbers for credit cards, proof of child DLA and their name & age.
07/03/22 - reason for an amount of £1k deposited in bank account - to make sure it was not a loan.
08/03/22 - Security call from Pepper.
09/03/22 - Formal offer received.

It takes around 2 weeks to get an offer. A lot depends on the surveyor. 
The underwriters are on the ball at pepper, the slight delay their end is when it comes to actually issuing the offer. The underwriter agrees everything and then it gets passed over to another department and that seems to be taking about 3 working days. Underwriters are taking 1-2 days tops.

Hiya. What kind of questions do they ask during the security call?

My application was submitted Friday… came back with additional Qs and done hard search the same day!  How long did it take for survey to be booked?  Am I right in thinking once survey is booked everything is practically guaranteed pending outcome of survey?
