Hi.
Sorry if I've posted in the wrong forum ( i did look around honest lol)
My wife and I are going to Barbados on Feb 17th for a week in the Savvanah Beach Club Hotel
then an island hop cruise with the Royal Caribbean Grandeur of the Seas
Our dilemma is that on our return from the ship into port at Bridgetown, we dock at 9 am and our flight isn't until the evening.
So we want (hopefully) to leave our luggage somewhere, so we don't have to go straight to the airport and hang around there
I have contacted R/C and he said there isn't anywhere to leave luggage
I found that hard to believe that a large company like that doesn't have this amenity.
So, Does any of you knowledgable peeps have a suggestion, please
Regards
Desperate Bob & wife.

Couple of suggestions -
1. Post your question on the Barbados forum of Trip Advisor, or on any specialist cruise type forums that you know of. I am however not sure there are luggage storage facilities at the port.
2. Check what time your airline opens checkin desks at BGI. Drop cases early then get a taxi to Crane Beach to chill and have lunch.
3. Book a nice restaurant for lunch. Sure they would store your luggage whilst you enjoyed your meal.
4. Look to book a Day rate at a hotel and use the facilities. Perhaps enquire at Savannah Beach Club as you are staying there prior to your cruise, or look at one of the other hotels around Bridgetown.0 -
See if there is locker storage at BGI. We had a long layover at Kuala Lumpar airport a few years ago and stored our luggage in large lockers whilst we went into the city.0

Ships sometimes do a day excursion and drop you at the airport.0
