Cheapest Bulk Post to the USA

Hope this is the right area to post this.

I am trying to help out a family member who is moving to the USA - they aren’t taking furniture or large items but do have about 20 medium/large cardboard boxes of items they want across with them.

They’re already over there and will be ready for the boxes soon - I’ve looked into posting and found a few companies - all seem to be offering large cargo crates which seems a bit too much space and very expensive.

Can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative? Open to suggestions.
