Hive central heating receiver single channel (Top Light Getting dim)

Hi Everyone,

I am using a Hive system along with the Worcester Bosch Combi Boiler

For the last two days the top light on the receiver unit is getting dim, and I have seen it flickering a few times.

When I turn the heating on light on the receiver unit underneath the top one is quite bright.

Previously top light was also the same as the light underneath it ( in terms of brightness)

I have replaced the batteries of the HIve thermostat but no luck and the top light on the receiver unit is still dim.

I have attached the photos for easy understanding.

Any suggestion on what to do and what can be the cause of this.

I've just looked at mine, and the two lights are quite similar in brightness, and you clearly feel the top light used to be brighter.

As long as the system is otherwise working fine, I'd put it down to the LED starting to burn out, so I wouldn't worry about it until it goes kaput and/or the whole unit fails. I don't think it relates to WiFi signal strength?

It certainly isn't battery-related, since that receiver is mains-powered.

I'd wait until it gets worse New receivers should be easy to fit - unclip, replace, and 'link'.
