I *think* Octopus has offered me a decent fixed rate
My Octopus Go (cheap 4 hours overnight, used mainly for car charging) comes to an end March 22nd. They've emailed me the below offer.

Based on Martin's video saying a fix would need to be 44% more than today's cap, or 59% more if we assume the cap will increase again, then I think this is a pretty good switch.
I'd appreciate if someone could cast their eye over it and confirm my thinking. It's difficult to compare because on the face of it, the flexible rate is better because it's below the current cap.

Yes, despite the price increases, Octopus Go remains a competitive tariff for EV owners who can use much of their energy in the 4 hour cheap rate.

That's about as good as you'll get at the moment. Consider switching to one of the earlier Go Faster windows, mine starts at 9:30pm which enables me to run various other appliances in the off peak period.0
