Working....
Hi.
I have a friend in a bit of trouble with finances.
I have mentioned a DRO might be an option for her but am not sure if you can have one if you work part time?
If on paper when working you still have less then £75 I think it is now. Can she get a DRO?
I take it that this leftover amount when working the finances out does not include the debts still?. I had a DRO many years ago myself but not sure if anything has changed.
Many thanks.

Hi Orville - you certainly can have one if you work, whether part time or full time. The tests are:
- Assets under £2k
- No vehicle worth more than £2k
- Debts under £30k
- Disposable income under £75 a month after reasonably necessary household expenses but *before* debt payments

So the debt amount has changed then, or is my memory failing me? I could have sworn when I got one it was under 15k :-). Mind you it was +10 years ago now I think.
Thanks for the info guys. I have put it to her as an option which she is thinking on.
I shall post again if there any more questions :-).
Thanks again.
