My Nest heating isn't turning off even when I have turned the thermostat down.
I have programmed the schedule correctly but if I turn the heating on for abit outside of its schedule for when it is supposed to be on, it will keep going even when I have reduced the thermostat right down again once the house is warm enough. Please help.

Are you sure it's not something like the motorised valve, rather than thermostat i.e. might be worth getting an engineer out rather than attributing fault to the thermostat if this appears to be working as expected in terms of not error messaging/heatlink appears to be connected.0

is it brand new and only just installed?
Our one was faulty and wouldnt turn the heating off ( new bolier and Nest). House was like a sauna.
The company that fitted the new boiler replaced it0
