Octopus say they need meter readings

I received this email today. They say I need to find meter readings. I can't log into any old accounts before Avro. I had a smart meter so can't they track the readings as they go. I can't remember what or if I gave readings and to whom cos it was all confusing at the time and half of my fuel was with green and other with Avro. It's a mess 

"This is a quick update, and an apology.

We’re working hard on getting your final Avro bill over to you. I’m sorry it’s taking so long.

Working with the Administrator, we’ve been able to issue final bills for over 90% of Avro customers — indeed, we’ve averaged over 10,000 bills a day since we got the green light to start sending them.

However, more complex cases are still waiting. The reason we’ve not been able to issue your final bill yet is Avro doesn’t have a record of the reading agreed between them and the supplier you were with before Avro.

You can help us sort this out if you have the final bill from your supplier before Avro. If you do, please

    This is email I got from Green so it was sorted. I can't get into the green account anymore.

    Your final balance is £94.62.

    As your Final Energy Statement shows a positive Final Account Balance, your new supplier Shell Energy Retail Limited will be honoring this balance in line with the Supplier of Last Resort (‘SoLR’) process, Green will not refund any credit balance.     Just so we can understand:
    • You were with Green;
    • Then switched to Avro before Green went bust (& you have credit with Green that you're waiting on Shell to refund;
    • Then Avro went bust and you were SoLR'd to Octopus
    You're a dual-fuel customer, with both electricity and gas being with the same supplier throughout this?
    What meter readings do you have recorded, and what bills do you have copies of? Any from this period?

    One more thing. You say you've got smart meters.
    Are they smart with Octopus? Could you ask Octopus if they can pull your last 6 months of readings from them?

    I don't have any prior to octopus as I can't log into any of these accounts. Yes I was a duel fuel customer. I have details of direct debits but that's it. I know I have been bit rubbish with it all. I was just reading from advice to just sit and wait and it would all get sorted. I haven't been giving readings for a while as they took from from the smart meter.

    I think that's going to be the best option. I will try that.
