    Yes we found a will and it states that the house is to be equally split between his Sister-( My mum, )and Niece and Nephew . I am the executor so have started gathering values of the assets , luckily its just the house and bank savings but it is the house that worries me the most . I have booked an RCIS valuation for next week - now I have had time to do some research on the MSE probate pages I don't see how it can be borderline as the  IHT allowance is 325K and the house and savings should only be around 280K if my guess at the house price is correct with quite a bit of wriggle room TBH
