I challenged a default Virgin Media placed on my credit file, does it sound like it will be removed?

I'm having difficulty understanding exactly what their e-mail response is saying (it doesn't seem well worded):

They've told Equifax your account is no longer active ie closed.

They won't remove the default as they believe it's right.

They are telling Equifax to change the default from being outstanding to settled.

It should all be updated in 14 days.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

I thought this to be the case, but I wasn't sure.

If the default was paid in full on 31.12.2019 then surely the account should have been closed on that date? Not 2021?

Is it worth me stating this to them in response? I'm unsure as to how I should respond (if I should at all).

I might be reading it wrong or they may have worded it wrong, I’d probably just see what happens when your report updates for now

It makes no difference either way, it'll go on the 6th anniversary of the default date anyway.

Little point generating more work for everyone by arguing over the account closure date.

I did put what the other poster said to them and they pretty much just reiterated what they had already said in the screenshot, so I've now left it.
