SO Energy Pricing Query :

We are on a two year fixed term tariff with SO Energy for our Electricity & Gas & our monthly bill is exceeding over £300 from media reports this appears incredibly high please advise the next steps & what are our options as the advice is to stay with our current provider Thank You.

    What are the rates, in pence per kWh and pence per day?
    What is your estimated annual consumption (EAC)? It will be shown on your bill.

    The Rates are Electricity : 25.11 P/KWH & Standing Charge : 24.01 P/DAY

    That'll be a bargain, come April Fools Day.

    Direct Debit amounts don't necessarily accord with actual usage. Find you annual consumption figures (it'll be on past bills) and multiply the SCs by 365, the annual KWhs by the appropriate rates, then add it all up and divide by 12. That will be close to what your DD payments should be.l
