    Hi MWT,
I have found 14/2/21 to 15/2/22 meter readings which are

                                     14/2/21.                                                    15/2/22

    GAS                           04720                                                       05775               = 1055

As suspected, your gas use is a lot higher than you were thinking, looks like you have a metric meter so as per hickorydoc's comment above, your actual gas use is around 12,000kWh.
The units on your meter are in cubic metres, not kWh hence the confusion.
So when you look at costs from other suppliers make sure you are using the correct kWh figure for your gas (12,000) not the meter reading of 1055m3.
If you check a recent gas bill you'll see a calculation there that converts the meter reading difference into kWh...

My usage for 20/2/20 to 20/2/21 was Gas 1153 kWh and 3674 kWh of Electricity.
That's *very* low gas use, even for two people in a 2-bed terrace. Do you heat your house with gas or some other way?
If your figures are definitely correct:
    • On the current cap, your energy will cost around £1000/yr
    • On the new April cap, your energy will cost around £1400/yr
If you can get a fixed-rate tariff costing £1400/yr or less, with a sensible exit fee, it's definitely worth taking. The two you''ve been offered  - £1,474.91 til Feb 2023 / £1,550.51 til Feb 2024 - are a bit higher than this but might be worth considering if you need a guaranteed tariff that runs beyond October 2022.
Revised calculations based on your amended annual gas use of 11988kWh:
    • On the current cap, your energy will cost around £1450/yr
    • On the new April cap, your energy will cost around £2200/yr

If you have smart meters the electric readings will be kWh but the gas will be M3 so roughly 10.96 to 11.4 kWh per unit depending on the calorific value reading used in the bill. If it's an imperial meter ft.3 then the reading for gas is roughly triple the above figures, around 33 kWh per unit.
Someone please tell me what money is

Imperial meters are 4 digit, so the leading zero suggests the metric assumption is likely to be correct.

Those fixed tariff figures don't look good today or even after the 1st of April '22 but depending upon what happens come October '22 they may - how good is your crystal ball?
But exit fees of £100 per energy supply would kill it for me as if prices come down you couldn't jump without some pain. That's me though - ymmv.
