Contradictory evidence provided

I've received a parking charge notice from Parkit Management for an alleged overstay in a Grantham car park. There is no reference to the amount I paid, nor the period actually overstayed, just the entry and exit times. The interesting part is that, although the times in the location/date/time stamp at the top of their evidence photos match those mentioned in the PCN, the location stamped is a different car park - actually in Doncaster! My gut feeling is that this immediately invalidates their claim but would appreciate any thoughts before I submit my appeal.
I've used one of the templates and amended some details ready to forward to their appeal page.
Thanks

In would ignore, let them open a court claim, and let them shoot themselves in the foot

    I wouldn't.

Who the heck are Parkit Management? BPA or IPC?  Show us a redacted image of the ticket please, they are new and sound useless!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Are PCNs (soon to be NoPCs) supposed to include the ATA roundel? Their website does ... IPC AOS operator:

I can't read the location number on the PCN photos, so I will have to take your word that they are for a different car park.

I suggest you get pics of the signs at the car park and check the location code there, in case anything has changed.
Then send the appeal template in blue text from the NEWBIES, unaltered, from the keeper. If there is a mismatch with the location codes, then add a one liner to that effect. Don't expect it to be a winning point though if the location name is correct as that complies with the PoFA requirements.
