Yes it's a scam, just like the ones for SSE. Nothing to do with the company and you'll hand money over to never be seen again

1 - MSE doesn't market any products.
2 - Eon doesn't issue any retail financial products.
Its a common scam where the scammer uses the real corporate bond and makes it look like a savings account. You never buy the corporate bond and the money goes to the scammer.

The bonds highlighted are all perfectly legitimate bonds issued by E-on, but just be clear that's not what any money that gets sent to these crooks is going to buy. In fact, I'd be very surprised if the money was used to buy anything except the next wave of gullible 'investors'.
These people should have harsh punishment inflicted upon them.3 -
