ECO grants

I have now asked my own energy suppler about this ECO grant OVO and they where unhelpful  except to say they don do any more so I persevered , I contacted Boiler Grants who referred me to Eon  but that fell though.

The only thing I was told was try and find an installer that does ECO installers I haven't found one here yet I been without heat and hot water four days and I think I'm going to have to loan the money to have a new boiler because I have given up with the so call ECO Grant.

the grants system isn't really designed for a heating system that has already failed in winter though - it tends to take too long to process. Have you tried your council to see if they have anything that can help?

Thanks BUFF yes I did try the Council and its not open to me , However early days yet but I might and that's a BIG MIGHT have some news on the ECO but not until March 3rd and I will pass this on if it happens.

Hi, unfortunately it seems the pot is limited and it does not matter who supplies your energy.  We were very lucky and it only took 2 weeks from filling in the forms to getting a new boiler installed.

Hi Just an update on ECO Boiler grants,well has of today's date or I should say 9th Feb 2022  eon energy email me and also phoned and where very helpful , today 3rd March 2022 they sent out an engineer who said that the boiler needs replacing and has taken all the information he needs ,about an hour he was here, very nice and polite gentleman who answered all our question, and has given us a quote. 
We now have to phone a number which we phone tomorrow 4th march 2022, they will send someone out to look at our house 
for insulation things like loft , underfloor insulation, we happy to go with this to see what happens.
Now we wait and see, I will say we have been told from the outset this could or will take 12 weeks or there about we should also mention all depends on the income and or benefits you many receive or are on.
I will let you know more when I know.
