I have had calls from a company called Cprompt UK Ltd saying they are a no win no fee solicitors who are recovering investments in Fluid Isa Who are apparent in liquidation. Can anyone confirm they are a legitimate company or scammers. They are asking for a 5% fee to get my investment back.

Sounds like a scam to me, although I would imagine cold-calling is a normal tactic for companies in that line of work.
CPrompt UK are listed with Companies House, but there's no guarantee that you're actually dealing with them, I guess. The nature of their business is listed as 'Information technology consultancy activities' - they current have £82 cash in the bank (yes, really) and assets worth £18k. They also have no obvious online presence.

If the company is in liquidation there is no way you can get money out other than via the official route so it does sound like a scam. If they're asking for the money up front then it is definitely one.
How have you heard that Fluid ISA Bond is in liquidation? There is another thread already that doesn't suggest that is the case

https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/02876125Actually someone seems to have just launched a website purporting to be the company in question. I am certain that it was not searchable when I last looked just a few weeks ago. The timing is very suspicious. The registered office address and phone number look fake (the real business is registered to a residential address in Northumberland (not surprising for a mom-and-pop IT business) not an office building in London!). I will not link to the website as I don't want to give them any SEO assistance. Interestingly, Google doesn't like it very much, but it was a top search result in DuckDuckGo.Edit: Whois seems to back this up, Registered On: 2021-10-05, perhaps just used as a plausible looking email domain initially. Very unlikely the genuine company incorporated in 1993 just happens to pick this time to set up a website.3 -

Well spotted, not noticed that. Have you seen any evidence that Fluid ISA are in liquidation? There's nothing showing on Companies House at the moment?masonic said:

https://www.p2pfinancenews.co.uk/2021/09/20/ifisa-manager-northern-provident-investments-enters-liquidation/There's no reason to believe it is in liquidation. In fact, I'm quite sure it would not be put directly into liquidation, and rather enter administration, since the issue of bondholder assets being tied up in the company, and the management of the lending side of the business, would require it. It would only be put into administration/liquidation alongside the operating companies, since it is only holding company for assets held in trust. Unfortunately it can take up to a couple of weeks for such notices to find their way to the Gazette/Companies House, so we can't know the current status of the companies. What should happen, within a working day or two of administrators being appointed, is that all known creditors (including bondholders) should be contacted to notify them of the situation. It is unclear whether the Fluid Trust plc hold contact details for bondholders directly, so we may not be able to rely on this.NP is in liquidation. It could be that posters are just confusing the companies, or perhaps CPrompt is sowing that confusion to lend credibility to its story. I think we are up to three posters now that have mentioned it in association with contact from CPrompt, so that seems an unlikely coincidence.1 -
