Pretty much the best response would be to send the "provit letter".
You are mixing a prove it, with a subject access request, when really, and this is the same for any and all debt collection agencies, all you have to ask for is evidence of your liability.
The provit letter is specifically worded so as not to acknowledge anything, in case the debt they are chasing might be statute barred, or used against you at a later date.
If you go asking for personal information, when all you want is evidence of your liability, you will be exposing yourself to possible liability for something you may not otherwise have been liable for.

I'm having a problem out of the blue claiming I owe Klarna some £510.39, in a text on my mobile number. The number is a backup phone and have never used it for any commercial transactions. I don't think they know who I am.0
