So a question to MSE if i may,
given the cost of energy is going through the roof as we are all well aware of. those of us that have invested in Solar technologies or any technology for that fact that generates back to the grid. is there going to be an increase in the payments we receive to help fend off some of the increase in the energy cost or are we permanently going to be at a deficit in comparison to the cost of the electricity we have to purchase ?
Apologies if this has already been asked and or answered.
Thanks in advance

The FIT is reviewed annually, so I would expect that to rise again.

That's a good point, i forgot about that!ProDave said:The FIT is reviewed annually, so I would expect that to rise again.0 -
FIT Set to rise by 7.5% rpi index April the first1

FIT will be over 60p from April this year so still significantly above cost of electricity for pre 2013. If you installed later and got a lower rate you also would have paid less for the installation.ProDave said:The FIT is reviewed annually, so I would expect that to rise again.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
that's great, thank you all for your comments this has helped me enormously!0
