Multi-room Freesat. Which Boxes Are Recommended And How To Connect, how many Dish leads for the PVR?

A good friend is getting Freesat. because Freeview reception is not good. She is surrounded by trees and also a low lying area.

I'm not sure on the latest set ups and choices.

She  would like Freesat in the bedroom and Freesat with a recorder in the lounge.

Some guides say you need 2 dish leads for the recorder, another guide said 1, I'm confused.

Please help.
