Im needing a small bit of advice here just to clarify everything in my head. Ive been checking over my credit file every few months and i only have one default on my credit file remaining from other debts my ex wife left me with. Now with the one that is remaining it is showing 6 years in March since the first missed payment and 6 years in May since it went to default. When does it get removed from my credit file? Is it 6 years from the point of the first missed payment or the point of the first default?
Remaining Debt - starting - £1609.44/current - £1457.73

From the default date. But may take 1 or 2 months after that to come off.0

They're removed in turn, your late payment is 6 years after March, the default is 6 years after May. The late payment going won't affect the default date0
