Before covid when we went to the cinema we would take our own snacks in in our handbags/rucksacks. Can someone REALLY stop you from taking your own food to the cinema? How strict are those rules?  We were prepared to have screaming habdabs if anyone told us. But nobody ever did. I would do it again, if and when I go back to the movies.

    Any tips for odeon tickets?
  • if you have aa cover for your car, you can get up to 50% off vue tickets
  • We often go to our local independent cinema in Crosby - tickets are about £4 which is madness. It's not as high tech as somewhere like Odeon but certainly does the job, and I don't mind if I'm saving that much!

We've had a tastecard membership for a couple of years and it's been especially good for cinema savings, as we go fairly often. You have to purchase your tickets on their app but I think the saving is about 40%, so if we go twice a month we've easily made back the monthly membership cost :)

The best way to save money in the cinema is to bring your own snacks. I paid £10 for nachos in Odeon once. £10!!!!
  • Find out only the other day that if you have Amazon Prime you can get 2 tickets for£10, can be used once a month, for viewings Monday to Thursday.
