When will I see signed lease?

I completed on a flat last Tuesday and a voluntary lease extension was due to be completed as part of the sale. I have asked my conveyancer for the signed lease and extension but he says he has not received this yet. I thought this would be available straight after completion? The purchase was so stressful I am very worried about making sure I have all the documents I need, am I worrying over nothing or should I be chasing this more urgently?

So when did he say he would receive it? Was he also surprised not to have it, or did he say he expected it in a couple of weeks? in due course? in a month?tryingmybest99 said:......he says he has not received this yet.....

We only talked by email as he didn't pick up the phone when I called him so I don't know if he was surprised, but he I did say on the day of completion that he would have it "pretty soon", I didn't think to question the timescales at the time because I was thinking of other things as it was completion day.canaldumidi said:
