How long does the micro deposit verification for ebay take.

I recently decided to go back to selling my unused items on ebay.  I used to use paypal but since then a lot has changed, you now need to add a bank account in order to sell.

I set up my new bank details with ebay in the beginning of January.  There was an ebay message that said they would send me 2 microdeposits to my bank account but I have still not received this.  Does it usually take this long or is something wrong?

At the moment I can sell on ebay but have no idea whether I would be able to access the money if I do sell something.

    It’s usually very quick, 3 or 4 days at most. I’d check you supplied the correct details and then use the option that the payments were not received to request another attempt. Until your bank account is set up for managed payments you will not be able to access your money.

    As far as I know all the bank account details are spot on as I have screen shots of all the numbers and they are correct.

    Appreciate the advice I'll try and request another attempt at the payments.

    I can't find any option that the payments were not received and to request another attempt.  Where is that located?

    There is a part that states:

    'Preferred for selling costs
    We'll charge this account first for any outstanding costs before trying other payment methods on file.'

    It has an option to turn this on or off, should I be turning this on?

    You may need to phone them about the missing deposits otherwise you'll not see your money for a long time.

    As for the funding method, that is up to you, they will need money for any shortfall after returns or losses and also in case you want to use ebay postage labels, you can either have it taken from your bank or from another source- but you must have a source available.
