Gas usage month by month (percentage split)

Does anyone know what the percentage split of gas usage over a year looks like month by month? i.e. What percentage of your annual gas usage is in January, February, etc? This is assuming a house with gas central heating and hot water.
I'd guess that January and February each account for about 20% of the annual amount? And the summer months would be more like 1% each?
Does anyone have any data on this?
Or a best estimate?

Thanks Dolor. That's really useful.
If you don't mind me asking, are you based roughly in the south, central, or northern part of the UK?0 -
My rule of thumb is 75% in the cold six months and 25% for the warmer half of the year.Edit: Which fits, almost perfectly, with the next post!1
