Good Morning EDF.
I will try and keep it brief. We are small business who moved into a small shop in march 21. We received a letter in the first few days from EON advising they are our supplier & the meter serial on their bill was the one for our shop. So we set up a DD and have been paying it ever since. However, in October/November we started to get bills from EDF. Despite a number of calls and live chats, and supplying them a picture of our meter, they are insisting they are the provider and sent an "enforcement office" to the shop Saturday.
The meter is next to two other meters (shops either side) and neither of them are the serial number on the EDF invoice. Eon have confirmed to us that the meter is associated to our address, so really not sure what to do.

The onus is on EDF to prove that you owe them the money. Is it a gas meter or an electricity one? If it's an electricity meter, you should carry out @Gerry1's Meter Sanity Test and confirm, for certain, which meter is yours.
