Covid Passport Expiry

Many countries in the EU are imposing an expiry date of 270 days from the date of your last shot on Covid Passports. If you had your booster in November 2021 this means many people won't be eligible for entry using this less hassle free method come August 2022. Without the ability to get a fourth shot does anyone have any news on what the UK Government is going to do? I don't believe many people are aware of this potential restriction when booking their summer holidays and I can't imagine Travel Agents are highlighting this problem

No, the new rules mean that the original single or double vaccination dose will be deemed to be expired after 270 days, unless a booster has been given - there is no expiry period yet for those who've had boosters, as discussed in the main thread about this:

Hi, thanks for pointing that out, glad to hear I've misunderstood the position0

A COVID certificate is a document that acts as proof that someone is fully vaccinated and all doses have been successfully administered by an authentic laboratory or a public health program. Verifying COVID certificates is essential especially when attending large-scale gatherings, traveling abroad, booking a hotel, etc.
