Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 issue

Morning all

I've had to reload the above program, and it's usable once I've downloaded it.

However, on subsequent days I've been getting the following message when trying to open Word or Excel, and individual documents and spreadsheets -

"Error - The operating system is not presently configured to run this application"

Is there something I'm doing wrong ?

Or is it worth purchasing a more up to date version of Microsoft Office, and if so, which one and where from ?

Thanks for that.
Ended up having to use the online repair option, but appears to be working the moment.
