Electric shower options

Hello
Is it possible to get an electric shower (cold water feed only) that is concealed/hidden in the loft rather than a box with a dial on the wall?

Yes, something like this would work: Triton T300si Remote White 8.5kW Manual Electric Shower | Showers | Screwfix.com
There are 9.5kW and 10.5kW versions as well.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -
Thanks tacpot12. Its still a plastic box on the wall though. There are numerous mixer showers where the 'box of tricks' is hidden in a cupboard or above the ceiling with just a remote display and the shower head(s) on show. Is that not possible wiht electric showers?0

In the one that was linked to the bit that goes on the wall is the wireless controller. The heating unit is concealed elsewhere. I’ll agree it’s not as nice as the wireless controls for digital mixer showers, but it seems to be a very niche market with not much on offer - I could only see that same Triton one with a quick google.

I agree it's annoying. I'd have liked one last year, but ended up with a Mira Azora partly because the box is less unattractive than the average electric shower.
There's no reason an electric shower shouldn't have an attractive looking controller like a so-called "digital shower" does.
I would guess better options might emerge over the next few years, as heat pumps replace gas boilers and gas heating in general becomes less appealing as an option.0 -
Blimey, surely a gap in the market? They also do that one in chrome finish - not sure that helps much? And - annoyingly - they also do a brushed-metal version with a 'proper' control in the middle, but it isn't 'remote', but overall - I think - looks better: https://www.tritonshowers.co.uk/aspirante-electric-shower-brushed-steelNow, if they could fit that control on a smaller remote panel, job would be jobbied.
