That's interesting @JGB1955 - have you done business with them - I don't know them and it actually meets my personal criteria?

Kent Reliance who recently went from 5.20% to 5.3% for 1 year fixed bond, now up to 5.58% (and 5.6% 2 year) - yearly income.
(Monthly slightly lower - usual deal)

Was in the 14 day cooling period on my 5.2% and got them to move it to 5.3%, so assume can do similar as that new account has re-set the 14 days!

I have a 5 year fix with them which opened in October 21. I don't remember having any issues at the time. I have just opened but not yet funded the new one as it also seems a good deal. 30 days to fund so a lot could change by then.

Might be pushing my luck asking Kent to move my 5.3% to 5.58%, having done the same from 5.2% to 5.3% recently. Unless that 14 day cooling off period reset in between!
Pretty sure the 14 day cooling off period would reset each time you move to a new product

Brilliant. Checked the maturity date and it's the 20th June, so will open the new version and request a switcheroo.

I just opened it and I'm pretty sure it said 5 days to deposit funds from my nominated account...

Thanks @FishInGlass - good to know that others have experience of new-to-me organisations.

I just checked the T&C and Summary Box downloadable documents and the latter states:

"You have 30 Calendar Days from your Account being opened to make your Initial Deposit and any subsequent deposits."

Ahh yes... but during account opening, on the page where you specify the investment amount and where you're paying it in from, it happened to specify 5 days to deposit the funds... I guess the summary box supersedes the other notification...

I don't know @intalex - they're both important, so should be the same.

For me personally it won't make much difference - I can't be bothered to open accounts and then delay funding on the off-chance there might be something better come along. My only concern is that I'm not limited to one deposit where it might be more than the daily limit on my nominated account.  I also prefer to fund in smaller increments just for my own comfort level.
