Do lenders lend what they say they will.

Halifax gave me an AIP which took into account consistent regular bonuses, which I clarified multiple times with them. They changed their mind when I went for the full application. Luckily NatWest lent me the full amount. The lesson was to use a broker.1

I have had my irregular annual bonuses discounted already by the mortgage person. I have read their lending criteria to the letter and I am confident my other income will all be accepted at 100%. I have clarified it a few times too and I worry they will just disregard that into the application 🙄steve866 said:Halifax gave me an AIP which took into account consistent regular bonuses, which I clarified multiple times with them. I initially looked at NatWest and had three people tell be different things before finding out part of my income can't be used... Turns out, the way you word the question changes the answer 🤪0
