Urgent Help please

Hi,

Need desperatly to get a photo resized and sent to a company by midday today or my sister wont get her Christmas present

I have the original file taken from a camera but the size is showing in pixels!

I need to see how it looks in either 32 x 24" or 36 x 24" so I can instruct the company which size to produce

Obviously there is an aspect ration problem here in that one of the above sizes will contort the image, but am unsure which size!!

As ever I rely on the knowledge of this forum to get me out of a hole

Regards

Pete

Open the image in Irfanview, Ctrl + R, check the inches box. 32x24 most likely.

In CS2, best way is to to go image, scroll down to adjustments, then click on desaturate.

Might want to go to adjustements again, and to exposure and up the exposure level a tiny bit.

You can use mode to alter to greyscale but it destroys the midtones and looks very flat.

May depend on the original picture but I've just tried both methods here and no noticeable difference.
