Refund owed from failed Pure Planet
Following Martin's advice I managed to get a 2 year energy fix with Sainsburys prior to the collapse of Pure Planet. I was in credit and I have a final bill to 1st October 2021 but no refund. Tried Resolver who can't help as PP gone to the wall. Not a customer of the company that took over PP. HELP

Welcome to the forum.PP's accounts were transferred to Shell. Shell are responsibler for your refund. Contact them.
What if I’m no longer with my old supplier/Shell Energy – will I still get my credit balance?
We’ll honour all credit balances with your old supplier, even if you were in the process of switching suppliers when they went into administration.
We’ll be sending out cheques as soon as we can, but we’re afraid this will take a little longer to process. You’ll receive your credit balance next month at the latest, so keep an eye on the post.

Shell are still dealing with changing over live Pure Planet accounts and credit balances, I expect customers of other companies are a lower priority for them.Arch1

Shell owe us a Pure Planet refund too, we had switched away as you had. Shell have a section on their website, scroll down their home page it’s linked from there, which they update each week. Shell Energy also did not put their weekly update up on their website on Monday this week. Infuriating to have to keep checking for it. Meh.0 -
If you find it "infuriating" to have to keep checking, then just stop checking and wait for it to turn up. Nothing you do will make any difference to the time it takes to get the cheque.fluffig said:

April 1st. Still no refund from Sainsbury's Energy (Eon). I was with Pure Planet. Eon keep asking for more details. Really need payment 😫0

I contacted shell via the chatbot the other day and was told that the administrators need to approve the refund before it’s issued. Final bill issued in December with £250 credit.0

Finally received refund from Shell Energy on behalf of Pure Planet, due from 1st October. Happy!1
