Fully dependent on electricity

I only use electricity, no gas, will i still be having a 50 percent price rise? How will all these rises affect me? Im single living in a 1 bedroom flat

    Welcome to the forum.
    If you're on a variable tariff, it's likely to increase in April. Your standing charge is likely to increase from 25p/day to 45p/day and your unit price from 21p/kWh to 28p/kWh.
    Depending on your energy use this is likely to be a 35-45% rise.

    Assuming you are on the Standard Variable Rate.

    Average unit rate will go from the current 20.8 to 28.34 pence per kWh = + 36 %

    Average standing charge from 24.88 to 45.34 pence per day = + 82 %

    @nobakup, what is your annual consumption in kWh ?
