Worth fixing on this deal?
Hi folks,
Advice on whether or not to fix would be appreciated. FWIW, I would say we're slightly under average, I was in credit £200 odd before my supplier went bust after the previous year or so.
Anyway, currently on e-on NextFlex estimated at £1,134.82 a year
Rates are:
Electricity unit rate 20.87p per kWh

Two questions - is this worth it? The charges for the fixed don't seem far off the new price cap
And secondly, is it possible to know how long the tarrif is available for? For obvious reasons, dragging it out til mid march and switching just ahead of the changes would save a fair whack, but if it is worth the switch and it's pulled before then... that's obviously not ideal!

6,333kWh - GasOK, so it's pretty close.- on the V10 fix, you'll be paying £1610/yr
- on the average April cap, you'll be paying £1675/yr
I'd be inclined to take the cap.N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Ripple Kirk Hill Coop member.Ofgem cap table, Ofgem cap explainer. Economy 7 cap explainer. Gas vs E7 vs peak elec heating costs, Best kettle!

I would agree - especially as there will probably be a further increase to SVT later in the year.
Is there an early exit charge & if so how much?0
