Switching from prepay to billed monthly worth it still
Options
Hi
When I bought my house in July it had a prepayment meter already installed with Utiltia.
The plan was to work out our energy use then switch to monthly direct debit but this got made because Utilitia don't do normal monthly bills for some reason (just some way of paying the meter on direct debit).
I've noticed the price cap is lower for direct debit accounts but all the advice on the news is not to move suppliers.
Is this still worth doing?

Currently, capped pre-pay is around 15p/day more expensive than DD.Only you can decide whether it's worth the trouble of switching for that sort of saving.N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Go elec & Tracker gas / Shell BB / Lyca mobi. Ripple Kirk Hill member.
