Hi there, my previous employer was so unbearable so i left a day before my last day, i was told i would not be paid for the last 2 weeks which i accepted but now i have logged into my hmrc tax account and they have recorded that they have paid me but i have proof that they haven't (can provide bank statements), no P45 sent or payslip given to show anything, what can i do?

When did leave the employment?
The payroll may well have been ready before you left. The entry may well yet be reversed.1 -
My manager was a bully, degrading staff, badmouthing completely unprofessional, mood swings the list goes on.0

She did it to the last person, my thing is if your saying your not paying me why enter it on my tax record its illegal, i have written to the owners regarding this and no reply, just a disgusting way to run a business the worst i have experienced in my working life.Jillanddy said:How can they not pay you for the last two weeks? That's not legal. And why on earth would you accept it? You shouldn't be paid for any day you didn't work, but the law says you are entitled to be paid for what you did work, plus or minus any leave owed by or to you.0 -
I'd suggest writing a letter requesting P45/final payslip and if you haven't received them and your owed pay/holiday pay you'll be submitting a small claims request"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "3

Hi Sammy, thanks I sent an email regarding this but as they normally avoid these type of things because they are unprofessional and simply don't care about their staff turnover which is very high I will have to repeat the request so at least there is a paper trail. legally i'm suppose to get it but that don't deal with things properly.sammyjammy said:I'd suggest writing a letter requesting P45/final payslip and if you haven't received them and your owed pay/holiday pay you'll be submitting a small claims request0 -
Its shocking i know but i called ACAS they said they cant help me.Jillanddy said:I don't think you understand. They CANNOT refuse to pay you. Phone ACAS and start a tribunal claim for the money they owe you. Its free. And I can guarantee you that they will not be ignoring a court of law. ACAS can talk you through what you need to do. Why would you let them do this? It's people letting them get away with it that means they do it again.0 -

Thank you so much.Jillanddy said:
Why the hell not? This is basic law and is what ACAS are supposed to be for! I've never rated their call centre, but this is a new low. Put in a tribunal claim. Its easy to do it yourself. The form is on line, and you just have to explain what happened, what they owe you and send it in. Honestly, you can do this. And you should. Don't let them get away with two weeks of your hard earned pay.Zaena said:
