House is a terraced the 2014 bolier has got issues and a new one is required. Is this quote as expected?

This includes fixing a pipe leak in the kitchen ceiling which should take 4 hours.

30kw combi boiler because 12 liters/ minute
Or ideal logic 24 (saving of £100)
Includes 2 day fitting

Looks ok depends where you live,i believe the Logic boiler has 5 year warranty.

When I had my boiler installed by BOXT (WB 4000) last year it took them a day and cost £2k

It amazes me what they charge to fit a boiler. Any of them . I should have been a plumber.
Often it is a days work, and a unit picked up locally and swapped over. I helped where I could, so saw what was involved.

I looked at boxt, they were competitive, but went for a local guy who was recommended. 2.5k for a 35kw worcester with a hive system (the controller was rubbish and complicated that came with it)
They fitted a magna, and flushed well with an in line inhibitor as well.
I then used the same guy for my rentals. 

Remember your guarantees are linked to annual services on the unit.......which costs....

Encased in titanium no doubt? Placed somewhere silly behind something may also apply, otherweise 4 hours?

Also 2 days? Seems odd (unless it's being moved as well) (or the pipe is that hard to change!).

I think that price is far too high in all fairness. 
What model Logic is it? Standard, plus or Max

7 for the plus
10 for the max
