Homeless Section 38 help (Scotland)

Hello,

I am currently registered as unintentionally homeless I need to leave my current accommodation week starting 14th February. I have since December been waiting for a section 38 to be sent to another council. Long story about why I need to leave the area I am in.

The housing case worker has said she has sent it but actually admitted 2 weeks ago to a charity worker who is helping me that she actually hasn’t and will send it now. Fast forward to Tuesday she still hasn’t set it. I was then cc into an email by my charity worker, with my case worker saying it’s sent. I called receiving council this morning and they said it is not there.

I am stressed out and not sure what to do now or how to handle this. The email I provided my case worker was the direct email address to the homeless team leader at the receiving council so I have done everything I can possibly do.

Does anyone have any advice? TIA

Why do you think you need to leave by 14th Feb?  You've given notice or tribunal has made ruling?

Your current accommodation is privately rented house/flat, living with family, hotel, hostel?  (Laws vary).

    Best wishes

I read that as "I don't really want to talk about it, so please accept that I'm in this position"
